Basement conversion into self contained flat , Pembroke dock, Church street, Pembrokeshire

We are very proud to present you this outstandingly beautiful basement flat. We have created an absolutely new space from scratch here. When we first started there was nothing more than loads of dust and stone walls in there. Whole flat has been tanked(treated) against damp, floor concreted, walls and floor insulated and studded out. Whole flat received new plumbing system with external pump and a combi boiler, electrics have been newly fitted, meters moved outside into a newly created space by front door. Ceilings have been leveled, whole flat has been squared up planned to a millimeter of the space. New bathroom with a massive shower and suspended basin make an impression. Lovely white gloss Kitchen from Howdens finished with mirror chip black worktop, integrated appliances and led lighting fitted in wall units and a extractor fan  were installed. 5KW log burner is recessed into a lovely slate fireplace is a center of attention here. By planning space we were able to fit a kitchen in the living room and create a feature of it. Oak laminate flooring from Germany was imported to keep the best quality, oak doors are fitted internally in the flat. Bedroom double oak glazed door is a lovely feature and transfers more light through the flat. Externally we have revamped front and back steps with new slate and slabs, front also has new balustrade now and has been redecorated. We also didn’t forget about the so important chimney which was also repaired. Customers are just overwhelmed with the outcome. We are very proud too:) Please enjoy pictures that will show you the whole story of before, during and finished product 🙂

CUSTOMERS REVIEW:)

We would like to thank you for the superb job you have done on our basement conversion and changed what was basically a dark unused part of the house to a high specification self contained area for our extended family and friends to stay in luxurious comfort. We saw how hard you and your team worked and the precision and care you took at each stage of the renovation and were reassured by your advice and expertise.  We have had no problems since the completion date and are thoroughly happy with the outcome.  We wish you well and every success with all your ongoing projects.

Basement conversion in Pembroke dock, Laws street, Pembrokeshire

Basement conversions-this is what we love doing:) Giving our customer a new space within existing walls and a touch of a London luxury. Today we are facing limited amount of land to use, more stringent planning requirements and massive costs of extending property to accommodate an extra bedroom. If you are lucky enough to have an abandoned basement in your house then this is what we can do to it:)

We have started with a damp and cold basement flat where everything was good just to be taken out. We have removed all plaster, lifted old concrete floor, relaid gas and water, concreted the floor, insulated it and installed weyrock flooring .

Walls have been cleaned up and tanked for waterproofing, then insulated plasterboard applied. Ceilings have been leveled with latest laser technology, all have been insulated with 200mm insulation.

We have also opened up living room space, installed new staircase reusing old post and handrail from original stairs.

We have created a bathroom where was an alcove to the back door. New combi boiler got fitted in units and separate meters.

Our joiner has made new wooden windows and doors for us to a highest standard. We have also installed new lovely kitchen from howdens.

Living room received new fireplace finished in rustic brickwork and now  installed  a 5 kW log burner.

We have also re-rendered the chimney and repaired it, installed new liner and new pots

Exterior steps have been newly shuttered and concreted to both front and back to improve pitch and going.Exterior steps to front of the property have had a new slate and all walls re-rendered, rear steps have been finished in red slab and walls re-rendered, stonework re-pointed and patio area walled too:)

Flooring is finished in hickory timber to give this expensive and lovely modern look.

Exterior wise we have totally redone stairs to front and back in slate and red tile. Looks awesome:) We have already been asked to work on another basement in Pembroke dock by a customer that has seen our work here on Laws street.

Bathroom/en suite construction in Llangwm, Pembrokeshire

Beautifully finished and newly constructed bathroom as an en suite in this bungalow in Llangwm. We have been asked by Mr and Mrs Knigh to create a bathroom to serve two bedrooms in their home. They decided to use the space that is available in the bedroom to build a bathroom there.

We have advised the client on the layout and finishes, our plumber and electrician have taken care of their side of work to a highest standard. New energy saving spot lights have been installed both in bedroom and bathroom and all electrics tested too.

We have created a new manhole connecting to existing sewers and leveled and squared  all the walls and ceiling so tiling was nice and tidy when finished. All tiling was completed before installation of any units so if in the future client decides to change shower or toilet tiling wont be affected. Also it gives additional waterproofing and a nicer finish.Bedroom also has been fully redecorated , new sets of doors installed and new plastering completed. Clients are mega happy and already are thinking of having their kitchen done:)

Thanks to you and your team for the excellent job you have done for us at Llangwm.
Your website says “with perfection in mind” for your work, and we have reason to be grateful that that is exactly what you gave us; your work is finished to a high standard also. This of course is not cheap, but it does give value for money. You and your team are helpful, friendly and co-operative, and you clean up after really well! It was a pleasure to do business with you

Roofing work in Pentelpoir, Tenby / Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire

Roofing in Pentelpoir, Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, repairing defective roof timber work.
We have been called out to repair the roof that looked like is going to collapse any moment . The only thing that was holding a structure up was a very thin and unsubstantial for the roof load 3 inch nail nailed through the 5×1 inch ridge board. Not enough to hold the weight of concrete tiles. We have replaced the frame with a 8×3 inch timber to support and spread the loading of the roof equally. Then we have installed new rafters, renewed the felt and batten on both sides of the roof and re-tiled. Once we have completed the garage section of the roof customer was so happy that requested rest of the roof to be stripped and new felt and batten laid .
What can i say? If customer is happy, then I am happy.

Fencing in LLanteg, Narberth, Pembrokeshire

Another job we are proud of. We have erected a new fence in place of the one that has been very heavily damaged during last winter. Well, weather was on our side so we have enjoyed it and here we are. New fence and neighbours asking us to do more work for them in the near future. Happy again:)

Customer Rating:”Patryk and his team were brilliant. He replaced all my Father’s fencing (85 feet of it) and did a great job. The quality of work was excellent, and so was the price. Will definately be getting PBS back to do all the other jobs I need doing”.
